GLORIA SUMS IT UP

Dear Leader,

So much to talk about this week! You’ll find lots of useful information and inspiration here.  I’m obsessed with what we can learn from analyzing the implicit biases that shaped the testimony of both Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, and our own perceptions of them. Such as, he yelled and displayed anger, while she acknowledged being terrified.

What I’m particularly worried about and think you will be too is what the implicit biases in our culture do to our own heads, how they limit our perceptions of our value and capabilities. We’re learning in the most painful way how to overcome the enemy in our heads.

Warmest regards and no excuses,
Gloria Feldt
